Skills that open possibilities.

The sewing centre brings women together around a practical skill. Working with fabric and sewing machines creates opportunities to learn through practice, share knowledge, and build confidence.
For widows and women facing financial hardship, these skills can be a step towards earning an income. The centre complements our wider work of shelter, food support, and care.

THE PEOPLE AT THE HEART OF THE WORK
Through patient teaching and regular practice, women can develop useful skills in an encouraging setting. The centre is part of a wider commitment to dignity, confidence and practical care.
